When you start out, be neutral.
Don’t be the revolutionary. Don’t be the teacher’s pet.Be a face in the crowd - learning, observing, absorbing.
Think of your career like a bubble in a glass of sparkling water. At first, it sits quietly on the side of the glass. Then, slowly - naturally - it rises.
That’s how advancement should happen.
When you begin, respect your bosses and colleagues. Look. Listen. Learn. Offer opinions when asked. Work hard. Learn harder.
Make mistakes - everyone who works makes them. But never hide them. Dishonesty leaves a stain that competence cannot remove.
Don’t rush promotion. Earn it.
If you work with integrity and humility, your effort will be noticed.
And one day - your bubble will rise.
