After four decades running and overseeing hotels for major international brands, Stephen Ayers kept meeting the same person: an owner with a good property, no professional operator, and no one to call who wasn't priced for a 300-room hotel. Ayers Hospitality exists for that owner.
A cum laude graduate of the Lausanne hotel school, Stephen has spent over forty years managing hotels in England, Israel, South Africa, Cyprus, Germany and Canada. General manager at thirty-three, he has opened multiple hotels, built a chain from a single property to six, and served as Director of Asset Management over a portfolio that included the Fairmont Château Frontenac, the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, the Fairmont Château Laurier, the Fairmont Washington DC and two Hilton properties in Toronto. He now works only with independent properties.
William grew up in the hotel business. A graduate of Baruch College in New York, he began his career in residential real estate, selling and leasing luxury condominiums and rental buildings by some of the city's most prominent developers, then moved into asset management in Canada, overseeing budgets, leasing and on-site operations across a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties. He later founded and ran a multi-location retail business for ten years. Based in Porto, William is your first point of contact, leads the commercial and marketing side of every engagement, and is on site for the Health Check and programme work.
Openings, turnarounds, spa and resort operations, and owner-side asset management. Not theory.
